The Bethany Principle

This is an emerging theory in socio-physics.

The Bethany principle states that in stasis, a human is prone to being approached by people who are in the process of ‘seeking’. Their motivation is higher, and slack arsed humans are prone to be the subject of these ‘seekers’.

To avoid being overwhelmed by the Bethany principle, stop being so frakking lazy about catching up with old friends who are quite busy and who you don’t see so often anymore. And for gods’ sake make a new friend once in a while, you’re not dead yet.

The actual Bethany was the strangeways girl that launched herself at you when you started at a new primary school and then was really demanding and odd and had weird stuff for lunch.
